43 minimum hours required

• LAN 111.13: First Year German Part I
• LAN 112.13: First Year German Part II
• LAN 115.13: Second Year German Part I
• LAN 116.13: Second Year German Part II
• LAN 211.13: Introduction to German Literature
• LAN 213.13: Intermediate German Composition
• LAN 217.13: German Culture and Civilization
• LAN 317.13: Contemporary Issues of German-Speaking Countries
• LAN 322.13: Survey of German Literature
• LAN 310.13: Advanced Study of the German Language
• LAN 385.13: Selected Topics in German Literature or Culture (this class is repeatable when course content varies.)
• and enough elective classes (either through study abroad or often by taking 385.13 a second and third time) to meet the minimum hours requirement.

Special note to Honors students

Honors students interested in departmental honors should plan to achieve this beginning their junior year.
