Requirements

  • 33 semester credits of graduate course work
  • 3.0 grade-point average in graduate course work
  • At least 21 credits in Spanish
  • At least 15 credits at the 400 level
  • In the final semester: comprehensive examination, along with optional thesis

Simultaneous Certification while earning the Masters Degree

Students who choose to earn their teacher certification while they are also working toward a Masters Degree must take a few different classes than undergraduate teacher certification students.

  • Instead of EAF 228, 231 or 235, take EAF 428
  • Instead of C&I 233.01, take C&I 421
  • Instead of Pysch 302, take C&I 423
