Founded by Dr. George Petrossian, French Professor at ISU from 1963-1999 and Dr. Patrick Tarrant, this summer study is a four-week program at Université Grenoble Alpes in the city of Grenoble, located in the beautiful French Alps. The program is specifically designed for students learning French as a foreign language. You will study in small classes with international students from many countries of the world.
Learn more about this trip through the Office of International Studies and Programs Study Abroad office.
Courses taken during the summer study will transfer back as 6 hours of electives in French toward the French minor. Contact Laura Edwards to discuss which courses you will take while in Grenoble.
French and French teacher education majors are strongly recommended to go to Angers, France, or another semester or yearlong study abroad or go to Grenoble as an additional study abroad.
